Q: Can we cancel or change our office subscription anytime?

Yes, 100%. There are zero lock-in contracts. You can pause, skip a delivery, change coffee volume, or cancel anytime directly through your Airwallex customer receipt email with one single click.

Q: What brewing equipment is recommended for the office?

Our whole beans are precision-roasted for everyday office gear: bean-to-cup commercial espresso machines (e.g. Jura, De'Longhi, Breville), batch drip brewers (Moccamaster, Bonavita), manual pour-overs (Chemex, V60), and French press. We never clog grinder burrs.

Q: What payment methods are supported and how does corporate invoicing work?

We support Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay powered by Airwallex. Corporate cards are charged automatically every month, and an itemized PDF commercial tax invoice with custom Tax ID/EIN is automatically emailed to your accounting department.

Q: Do you ship directly to California, San Francisco Bay Area, and across the United States?

Yes. We provide direct priority air express shipping across all 50 US states, with California (Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Los Angeles) being our primary delivery hub. Transit takes 7-10 business days. Under US Customs Section 321, all shipments under $800 enter 100% duty-free with zero additional customs fees.

Q: How does Mount Gaoligong Yunnan coffee compare to Ethiopian or Latin American specialty beans?

Mount Gaoligong's 1,600m volcanic terroir and massive day-night temperature swings yield high natural bean density and rich sweetness without harsh sourness. While African beans lean heavily toward bright acidic citrus, Gaoligong delivers balanced dark chocolate, candied pomelo, wild black cherry, and silky alpine jasmine tea aromas (SCA 85.5-88.5+).

Q: Why does Mount Gaoligong only ship 100% Whole Bean rather than pre-ground coffee?

Pre-grinding coffee exposes up to 80% of delicate volatile aromatics to rapid oxidation within 15 minutes. By shipping 100% Whole Bean in high-barrier foil bags with food-grade nitrogen flushing (<0.5% residual oxygen), we guarantee that your beans retain peak origin terroir, vibrant crema, and fresh roast aroma for 90+ days.

Question 1

Why Mount Gaoligong coffee instead of traditional origins?

Accepted Answer

Mount Gaoligong is located along the UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve at 25°N, where pristine alpine microclimates (1,600m) and nutrient-rich volcanic soil create a unique terroir. Unlike conventional dark-roasted commercial blends, our specialty grade single-origin beans yield a remarkably clean cup with complex citrus, wild berry, and high-mountain black tea notes.

Question 2

How does Mount Gaoligong office subscription pricing compare to Starbucks or commercial coffee services?

Accepted Answer

Commercial office coffee services typically cost $8-$12/lb for stale commodity beans, while employee Starbucks cafe visits average $5.50-$6.50/cup. Mount Gaoligong delivers SCA 85+ fresh-roasted specialty coffee starting at $17.96-$20.75/lb (approx. $0.56-$0.65/cup on our 12lb and 25lb office plans)—saving companies up to 90% in workplace coffee budget while upgrading team morale.

Question 3

How does the Free Office Tasting Kit work?

Accepted Answer

We offer verified tech startups, design studios, and professional offices (5+ headcount) a complimentary 200g freshly roasted dual-roast tasting kit (100g Morning Mist Espresso Blend + 100g Alpine Washed Typica) with zero strings attached. Simply enter your company email and office shipping address at https://mountgaoligong.com#sample. We will air-express the sample directly to your office for your whole team to blind-taste and vote.

Question 4

How is freshness preserved during international delivery?

Accepted Answer

We roast on-demand and immediately package the whole beans into high-barrier, one-way degassing valve foil bags with food-grade nitrogen flushing (<0.5% residual oxygen). The 7-10 days in air transit perfectly coincide with the bean's natural degassing and resting phase—arriving at your office right at peak flavor window (Days 7-30).
